"There are two kinds of worlds: The one that you dream about. And the one that is real. The challenge is not to choose, but to make both worlds meet." - Unknown person, but he could very well be from The Matrix if you ask me hehe!
Having evaluated my life after some time now, I realized I still lived in the dream world. One that makes everything possible.. everything perfect.. everything right. But even now, I need to wake up and realize not everything happens in dreams. Nightmares can come to life.
1st week. We attended the Timezone Tekken Tournament 2010 (will post pics soon) in Glorietta 4. I never thought I would be bringing my character, Julia back to life again. Nevertheless, it was better this time around because I had more friends to hang out with than before.

Together with my boyfriend, we entered the contests, took photo-ops with the fans, and even played in the arcades in our costumes!

At one point, something came up.. something about trust. I felt betrayed & guilty at the same time coz' I didn't know if the reason was good enough. As the time passed, I let it fade. I didn't want this ONE ridiculous feeling ruin my day, so I had to turn it positive. Everything went well after that, for the meantime~! X3

It was an event after the other. Because the next day was the most awaited event for most fans and if you were one, then STAY AWAY FROM ME! hehehe just kiddin'! ahhh
the KPOP and Culture fest 2010!

Maybe it was fortunate that I wasn't much of a Korean pop fan or else my duty as an event marshall here would've been in pieces. I've been a marshall before but based on my overview, this is one hell different!
Picture this:
1) 8am in the morning there was already a line piled up outside our event venue. And we're not supposed to be open yet till 10am.
2) If you're in Kpop fashion, poeple will think you might be a KPOP star or celebrity that they will hog you for pictures.. even if you're a marshall/host!
3) Anyone who looks too korean/japanese is a victim to fangirls and fanboys.
4) The fans would scream to seeing their most favorite band/singer.. even just on TV/AV Screen! Imagine if it were live??
5) We literally rocked the house! The floor under us even called our attention to minimize the jumping frenzy. *faint*
It was one of the craziest times.. even if it was
so damn awesome nyaha!
2nd week. Work was becoming as hectic as the crowd control I had to go through last KPOP fest. Not only were they piling up my desk, but the additional work load I had to finish in that time too! I was trying my best to finish what I can before deadline but I always seem days delayed. T_T No matter how much I love my job, I think it's about time I thought about this again carefully..
On the plus side, something to get stress off my back, my boyfriend and I went to jaRoukaSama's birthday party. She just turned 21 and would be working soon. *hugs* The Annoying Crew were reunited here!

I've missed everyone from that outing and this time, the ones who didn't make it last time were all present. It was one BIG birthday party indeed. Here I forgave that lost trust that happened a week ago. Things fell back in place and I'm glad it did. I was sick that time and now I was well taken-care of.
3rd week. My wallet started to slowly die by the end of the month. I have finally past deadline and amidst the chaos in our company's Tradeshow this week, it still came out successful. I didn't want my wallet to suffer anymore coz' I'm seriously loosing it, so I attended the last event of the month
Metro Comic Con 2010. Unfortunately, I was still sick, down with another serious cough but I didn't let it stop me from debuting our MaJeKa's second major project: Ah My Goddess!

Once again, it brightened up things to know how much fans still love the old anime! I can't thank everyone who supported us on this, friends and photographers alike!
Looking back at the times we're been through, I see the changes. We were now composed of four groups:
MaJeKa girls, CAMP boys, AbRoAn boys and the Annoying Crew. These friends have been close to me ever since and I couldn't be more grateful to have them!

I will be taking a break from cosplay for now (won't be going to events either, maybe as a con-goer only), as my health is not cooperating with me the past few weeks. I need time to recover so it could take a month or so. As long as I don't exert too much energy anymore, I am still available for coffee-breaks, girl bonding, quiet time and the like. But for sure, I'll see you all in Cosplay Mania 2010!
*mhew*
